A new research building is currently being built at Corus site in Shotton. This facility opened in 2011


This is a refurbishment with a difference. Corus are using modular lightweight steel structures for form pods which are then assembled in sections. There are many different forms of cladding and roofing on this project including:-

  • Trisomet 333 Composite roof panel with Prisma coating
  • Trisomet 33 Composite wall panel with HPS200 &¬†Prisma¬†coating
  • Corus/ SAB firewall microrib composite wall panel around lift shaft and stair well
  • Solarwall cladding to South Elevation
  • Solarwall Rainscreen cladding to South Elevation
  • Secret fix plank profile incorporating strip windows with hidden frames
